Roll Call, citing the report, said Sgt. Dave Karsnia made the arrest after an encounter in which he was seated in a stall next to a stall occupied by Craig. Karsnia described Craig tapping his foot, which Karsnia said he “recognized as a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct.”
Roll Call quoted the Aug. 8 police report as saying that Craig had handed the arresting officer a business card that identified him as a member of the Senate.“What do you think about that?” Craig is alleged to have said, according to the report.Last fall, Craig called allegations from a gay-rights activist that he’s had homosexual relationships “completely ridiculous.”Mike Rogers, who bills himself as a gay activist blogger, published the allegations on his Web site, http://www.blogactive.com, in October 2006.

August 27, 2007 — lennyesqIts interesting that the posts I felt most strongly about lately in getting going at this new address were mostly YouTube clips of topics I felt were interesting.
Darcy Burner is a good example. She almost made it the last time in WA-08. Bush is in her district today at a fundraiser for the incumbent and the blogs have gotten together to raise as much or more money than Bush. Last night they had $75,000.00 pledged and were hoping to make $100,000.00 by tonight. The idea is to make Bush radioactive; i.e., if he comes to help a Repug, it will guarantee lots of money for the Dem.
UPDATE: The Netroots campaign raised $108,400.00!!
